The Rally is held every year on the second week of August. It is a working Rally with demonstrations with machinery, starting with horses moving onto the more modern machinery.
Demonstrations OF....

There are over 100 vintage tractors with 30-40 cars, lorries and bikes combined. Also up to 50 stationary Engines. The small traction engines that come are always displayed in full steam.
All over the site there are things to do like looking in on the pets corner and Birds of Prey with loads of trade stands that are both outside next to the main ring and in the marquee
Inside the large marquee there are various trade stands from showing you how to spin wool by hand, a stand where you can make your own necklaces or bracelets. There is always something for the whole family to look at in the marquee
For the children there is a children's entertainer and bouncy castle to keep them amused through the day.
In the next field from the marquee and main ring, there are working demonstrations with steam engines driving saw benches and thrashers with them cutting corn in the old fashioned way with a tractor and binder.
In the main ring, there is, throughout the day, different demonstrations from ploughing the ground and to how you would harvest the crops in the old fashioned way. Also there are parades, at different times of the day on both Saturday and Sunday, of the vehicles, tractors and the horses pulling their ploughs. Also you can see modern day demonstrations of Dog Agility. Also did you know that we are the only rally to plough up the main ring.
Available is disabled parking next to the main ring which should help you.
In 2005 our main Charity was the Childrens Hospice South West. We are also giving some of the profits to local charities. Last year we raised over £1000 to the same charity, the Chestnut Appeal.
None of this would be possible if we didn't have a couple of fields to hold the rally in and we are grateful for the permission of use of the fields from Mr and Mrs Peters every year.
To find us we are near Sorley Cross in Kingsbridge and there will be signs that will be up to help you get there. The car parking is free but for adults the price is £4.00 and for Children it is £1.00.
